Dear colleagues and friends!
The formation of national insurance markets in Central and Eastern
Europe countries has appeared not to be an easy process, but
an extremely painful one. Many problems are caused by the reason
that the insurers are not able to produce and protect their
interests and the rights at every governmental level. That fact
brings out the exceptionally important role for a dynamic development
of the national insurance markets.
In all the countries of Central and Eastern Europe different
insurance unions and associations are found and operate.. The
Belarusian Insurance Union was found 10 years ago. The 10 years
anniversary we celebrate in a hard time, because in our republic
the development of national insurance market is not the economic
priority for the State. That's why the Belarusian Insurance
Union sees its 10th anniversary as a serious reason for analyzing
its achievements and failures, analyzing the situation and all
in all to determine the future way of existence and development.
In this regard, dear colleagues, we are glad to invite you,
to take part in the International Meeting of the managers and
members of insurance unions and associations.
The aim of this meeting is to summarize and analyze the activity
experiences over the protecting the legal rights and interests
of insurance unions of Eastern and Central Europe countries,
also over the assistance at the foundation of national insurance
markets, examination the job experience of insurance unions
those countries with stable market economy.
All leaders of national insurance unions and associations, the
representatives of insurance organizations, taking active part
in the activities of national insurance unions and associations,
managers of state insurance supervision authorities, representatives
of governmental structures are encouraged to participate in
our Meeting.
